India Photo Diary

"It is always so riveting being in a place you didn't imagine you would love before.

Every colour in this place is doubly bright and every stranger seems like very keen to have conversations with you over cup of chai.

India definitely will stimulate you in any ways possible, and before you know it, you will fall head over heels in a very peculiar way."

Excuse me while I'm quoting my caption from my Instagram account, for I took quite long hiatus from blogging because life has been this big pile of contemplative mess lately. And you know, when I decided to write again, there is a good reason behind it.

More than a month ago, I did one of the most eye-opening trips in my life so far, visiting this land that I wouldn't thought of visiting before. India. And as I sitting at one of shabby coffee shop waiting for my delayed train going back home, I can't help but reminiscing the good time I had back then and would be nice to share little bit of pictures I snapped along the way.

I went to Delhi and Udaipur, and I know those pictures don't quite justify those two places or even India as a whole, I know that I will definitely go back, hopefully in the near future. It was cold back then in December and my heart was this countless shades of blue but nothing a cup of warm tea with spices and kind smiles greeting you "Namaste" can't heal.

India is a place that everyone should visit once in their life to get out of their comfort zones and get a different perspective of life. The culture shock can be overwhelming but there will be this longing grateful feeling after you go back home, that life can be unfortunate yet fortunate at the same time.

For me, India will likely change you and you won't quite be the same like you were before, for better or for worse.
